The Iridient Developer 3.5 update has been released! This update fixes some bugs with the improved TIFF export functionality added in version 3.5, adds support for more new RAW cameras and other improvements. The Iridient Developer 3.5.1 update has been released. Loading Fujifilm RAF images with lossy compression is now natively supported on Apple M1 processor based Macs and is also now MUCH faster on Intel based Macs as well. If you are looking for a camera to produce great image quality and not bothered about limited 4K frame rate, JUST GO FOR IT. Hope FUJI will release a firmware update to fix these shortcomings. I wish they enabled touch screen function for Q menu drive. # Touch Screen functions are a bit limited. # 4K shooting mode is restricted to 15 FPS. There is a bit of compromise in few areas which are not a big deal, I guess it is due to the pricing point. For this price range, I must say that is has more functions and creative options than it's competitors. Three mechanical dial controls for easy access and quick navigation of the menu. It has a fully articulating touch screen display and a bright OLED viewfinder. The image quality is really great with better noise management even in higher ISO range. The build quality is superb though it is hard plastic with metal trim on top and bottom.

The camera is aesthetically beautiful with a touch of RETRO design. The camera is super fantastic for the pricing that is fixed. This is not a commodity, it's an investment. Photography is a great skill that'll alter the way you see the world, travel, express your creativity, meet and interact with fellow photographers etc. People may complain that it's expensive, lenses are expensive etc.

If you are not a professional photographer and have some appreciation for art & craftsmanship, you should definitely consider a mirrorless (certainly the XT100) over ugly and bulky DSLRs. I personally switched to an MFT (Olympus OMD EM 10 II), and love the fact that I have DSLR like quality (and better features in some respect), in such a small form factor of a mirror-less camera. The pictures right out of the camera are brilliant (even without the X Trans sensor).

Bunch of options and aids that will help someone mature to become a better photographer. Nice kit lens (and access to brilliant X mount Fuji lenses)Д¤. I purchased this for my wife, and the design, size, & more importantly the accessibility for a learner, made it a great pick.ДЇujifilm doesn't make cheap stuff, so you get what you pay for:Д¤.
